including gun safety laws &#8212; whether or not they personally agree with those laws,\u201d states the letter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second Amendment Sanctuary jurisdictions are popping up across the country.\u00a0 Virginia has as many as 75, with more in play, and Texas has 34 and counting. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fundamentally, the movement asserts that the Constitution is clear on one\u2019s right to keep and bear arms: <em>it shall not be infringed<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gun-control legislation, including confiscatory bans on modern sporting rifles or standard capacity magazines, <em>is infringement<\/em>.\u00a0 Disarming law-abiding citizens, either by force or systematically by making once lawful property unlawful, <em>is infringement<\/em>. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/other-states-second-amendment-sanctuary\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"everytown-slams-2a-sanctuary-movement-theyre-ripping-apart-the-constitution\" title=\"Everytown Slams 2A Sanctuary Movement: \u2018They\u2019re Ripping Apart the Constitution\u2019\">Other States Watch Virginia as 2A Sanctuary Movement Grows, Militia Mobilizes<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet, the leaders of Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action don\u2019t see it that way.&nbsp;
