City of Chicago<\/em>\u2014on behalf of Deerfield resident Daniel\nEasterday. Deerfield\u2019s appeal was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction, the court\nruled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nplaintiffs were represented by Glen Ellyn attorney David Sigale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis\neffectively shuts down any further effort by the Deerfield administration to\nencumber law-abiding citizens in the community who own the kinds of legal\nfirearms city officials want to ban,\u201d said SAF founder and Executive Vice\nPresident Alan M. Gottlieb. \u201cWe were delighted to once again be working with\nour good friends at the Illinois State Rifle Association.
