Harris told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2019\/05\/12\/politics\/kamala-harris-gun-control-cnntv\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"kamala-harris-ban-importation-assault-weapons-via-executive-action\" title=\"Kamala Harris Will Ban Importation of \u2018Assault Weapons\u2019 via Executive Action\">CNN Sunday.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ban the importation of black rifles Harris would call on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to reassess whether those firearms are \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.atf.gov\/firearms\/firearms-guides-importation-verification-firearms-ammunition-and-implements-war-import\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"kamala-harris-ban-importation-assault-weapons-via-executive-action\" title=\"Kamala Harris Will Ban Importation of \u2018Assault Weapons\u2019 via Executive Action\">suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes<\/a>,\u201d Politico reported Wednesday. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/katie-pavlich-kamala-harris-executive-action-gun-control-attack-second-amendment\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"kamala-harris-ban-importation-assault-weapons-via-executive-action\" title=\"Kamala Harris Will Ban Importation of \u2018Assault Weapons\u2019 via Executive Action\">slammed<\/a> Harris\u2019 anti-gun agenda as an \u201cattack on Second Amendment rights.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s not talking about safety measures, she\u2019s not talking about giving law enforcement more ability to prosecute people who are using guns incorrectly, people who are already breaking the law,\u201d said Pavlich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYet we keep hearing this talking point from Democrats like Kamala Harris, that they want to ban this firearm, which is owned by millions of law-abiding Americans,\u201d Pavlich continued. \u201cAnd so it is an attack on Second Amendment rights, and it doesn\u2019t solve the issue that she claims to be going after.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pavlich pointed out that more people are killed each year with fists, clubs and hammers than semi-automatic long guns.&nbsp;
