One of the major issues in the campaign is gun rights, and Dziuba is pro-gun.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am a proud gun owner, and defender of the Second Amendment,&#8221; Dziuba states on his website.\u00a0 &#8220;I enjoy hunting and shooting sports, and I have a concealed-carry permit to protect myself and my family.\u00a0 The Second Amendment is a right.\u00a0 Yet every year, without fail, California takes more of our gun rights away, telling us <em>what we don&#8217;t need<\/em>.\u00a0 It&#8217;s time for this nonsense to stop.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As part of his campaign, Dziuba ran an advertisement on Google.\u00a0 The ad included the word &#8220;gun&#8221; in it and linked to the campaign website which included a picture of Dziuba holding a wild turkey he had legally taken on private property with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/Search.aspx?Keyword=Remington%20870%2020\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"hunt365-google-bans-republican-candidates-pro-hunting-ads\" title=\"Google Bans Republican Candidate's Pro-Hunting Ads\">Remington 870<\/a> 20-gauge shotgun.\u00a0 The gobbler was ultimately eaten by Dziuba and his family for Easter dinner.<\/p>\n<p>Google banned the ad.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;According to Google&#8217;s policies, this photograph &#8216;promotes cruelty or gratuitous violence towards animals,'&#8221; Dziuba explained on his website.\u00a0 &#8220;Any hunter will tell you that&#8217;s complete nonsense, and that sportsmanship means taking game cleanly, without suffering.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dziuba tried to run other ads on Google with mixed results.\u00a0 The ads included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;I&#8217;ll protect Gun Rights&#8221; (Banned)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I&#8217;m a Proud Gun Owner&#8221; (Banned)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Gun Rights: Come and Take It&#8221; (Banned)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Protecting the 2nd Amendment&#8221; (Approved)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Protecting our Gun Rights&#8221; (Banned)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I&#8217;m a proud gun owner and a defender of Second Amendment rights&#8221; (banned)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Theodore for Senate&#8221; (Approved)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Theodore Dziuba: Gun Owner for State Senate&#8221; (Banned)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It appears that Google will ban any advertisement that includes the word &#8220;gun&#8221; in it, but will approve ads that reference the Second Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtdemocrat.com\/news\/no-you-cant-google-that-local-senate-candidate-learns\/comment-page-1\/#comments\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"hunt365-google-bans-republican-candidates-pro-hunting-ads\" title=\"Google Bans Republican Candidate's Pro-Hunting Ads\">Mountain Democrat<\/a> reports that &#8220;there is apparently no way to speak to an actual Google person to respond to a few questions about their ad policy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>SEE ALSO:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/hunt365-new-world-record-big-horn-sheep-from-south-dakota\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"hunt365-google-bans-republican-candidates-pro-hunting-ads\" title=\"Google Bans Republican Candidate's Pro-Hunting Ads\">New World Record Big Horn Sheep From South Dakota!<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;There also seems to be no good way to reach the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, although a search for that very man will get you an impressive series of items regarding how to go about connecting with CEOs, in general.\u00a0 No way to Google how to reach the top guy at Google, unfortunately,&#8221; the Mountain Democrat reported.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, Dziuba interned for Google when he was younger.\u00a0 &#8220;The cruel irony is that when I worked for Google, managers would tell us, over and over, &#8216;<i>Don&#8217;t say or do anything publicly that you wouldn&#8217;t want on the front page of the newspaper<\/i>,'&#8221;
