Guy Dentistry in Kingsport, Tn., when Harry Weaver, 63, entered from the back of the office and shot his wife, Kelly Weaver, 52, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johnsoncitypress.com\/.media\/5\/2019\/02\/14\/20a23316-2d80-4556-9a7d-a0455568eb09.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"tennessee-ccl-holder\" title=\"Heroic Tennessee CCL Holder Takes Down Murderer in Dental Office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">police report<\/a>. Seagroves then pulled out his own handgun and shot Weaver multiple times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA concealed carry permit holder saw the threat, took action on the threat and stood by until officers arrived,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesnews.net\/Local\/2019\/02\/13\/Shooting-reported-at-Kingsport-business.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"tennessee-ccl-holder\" title=\"Heroic Tennessee CCL Holder Takes Down Murderer in Dental Office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy. \u201cWe\u2019re calling him a hero today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Weaver died of her wounds, but Harry Weaver was taken to a nearby hospital where he remained for several days. Upon his release, he was charged with first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.<\/p>\n<p>Seagroves has declined media interviews, but a Sullivan County Sheriff\u2019s Office report indicates that after shooting Weaver with a semi-automatic handgun he stood over the suspect until law enforcement arrived. And tears flow,\u201d she said. \u201cI realize yesterday could have been my last day on this earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee is a \u201cshall issue\u201d state that offers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tn.gov\/safety\/handgunmain.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"tennessee-ccl-holder\" title=\"Heroic Tennessee CCL Holder Takes Down Murderer in Dental Office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">concealed handgun licenses<\/a> in 8-year and lifetime varieties. Their gun control laws are generally on the less-strict side, though a Tennessee Democratic Party official came under fire during the 2018 election for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/gun-nuts-terrorist\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"tennessee-ccl-holder\" title=\"Heroic Tennessee CCL Holder Takes Down Murderer in
