At less than 1 pound, the new Fujinon TS 12x28mm stabilized binos are easy to carry and easy to use.<\/p><\/div>\n

Fuji had several new riflescopes this year, but I was more excited to see their new stabilized\u00a0binoculars, the Fujinon Techno-Stabi 12x28mm<\/a>. They are smaller than their other stabilized binos and at just 0.93 pounds they are comfortably lightweight.<\/p>\n

When powered off, they still function as normal binos.<\/p><\/div>\n

Techno-Stabi<\/h2>\n

Fuji’s not new to making binoculars and riflescopes. This is the same company that makes some of the best cameras in the world, so quality glass is in their blood. These binos give 12x magnification, which you would normally never handhold for any serious work because the image would be so jittery that you couldn’t get useful information from the view. But with the Techno-Stabi three degrees of variance, you can hand-hold and see clearly. This should be really helpful when judging\u00a0game or spotting shots at the range.<\/p>\n

They use standard CR2 batteries that are easy to find anywhere in the world.<\/p><\/div>\n

28mm Objective<\/h2>\n

Normally, I’d like a much larger objective to gather more light and give a higher resolution view. But, the 28mm here is pretty good and I think I’d trade the larger objective for the lighter weight with stabilization. These binos could replace a tripod in my pack, which might mean I could move faster and get in range on game before the sun goes and I need the bigger objective.<\/p>\n

Fujinon’s Techno-Stabi 12x28mm<\/a> stabilized binoculars will be available in the second quarter of 2019 with an MSRP of just $700. We can’t wait to review these for you.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
