This year to commemorate the new factory Beretta has released their 92G Brigadier Volunteer in 9mm. This pistol is DA\/SA and as a G model it is a decock only, rather than having a safety. It has a skeletonized Elite competition hammer and D model reduced power hammer spring, which \u201cdecreases the trigger pull by about 4 pounds\u201d according to a company representative. There is an oversized magazine release, and enhanced sights. The checkered walnut grip panels have special engraving of three stars in a circle to match flag of the great state of Tennessee. Unloaded weight is 33.3 ounces.<br \/>\nThe company representative also indicated there may be other commemorative guns in the works to further celebrate the establishment of the Gallatin, Tennessee factory.
