Comedian Louis C.K. is in hot water for some jokes he made while performing at a comedy club last month.<\/p>\n

During his now infamous set that was leaked online by TMZ<\/a>, Louis poked fun at genderqueers and Parkland students who\u2019ve leveraged their survivor status to agitate for tougher gun control.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d said Louis with respect to anti-gun activists like David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez. \u201cThey testified in front of Congress, these kids. Like, what the fuck. What are you doing? You\u2019re young. You should be crazy. You should be unhinged, not in a suit saying, \u2018I\u2019m here to tell\u2019 \u2026 fuck you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re not interesting cause you went to a high school where kids got shot,\u201d Louis continued. \u201cWhy does that mean I have to listen to you? How does that make you interesting? You didn\u2019t get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way and now I got to listen to you talking?\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to the Parkland jab, Louis talked about non-binary people who want to be addressed with plural pronouns.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, okay. You should address me as \u2018there\u2019 because I identify as a location,\u201d C.K. joked. \u201cAnd the location is your mother\u2019s cunt. It doesn\u2019t have to be that nasty, but it can be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both bits received applause and laughs from those attending the show (You can listen by clicking on the video below in Watts’ tweet). The same cannot be said for the politically-correct denizens of the Twitterverse, who wasted no time lambasting Louis.<\/p>\n

\u201cImagine thinking the best way to resurrect your career after admitting to sexual misconduct is to mock trans people and Parkland gun violence survivors,\u201d said Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America in a tweet.<\/p>\n

Watts was referencing Louis\u2019s masturbation scandal<\/a>, where he admitted, in 2017, to touching himself in front of fellow female comedians after asking their permission to do so.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true,\u201d C.K. wrote in a statement to the NY Times<\/a>. \u201cBut what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn\u2019t a question. It\u2019s a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Louis may be a sexual deviant but he is also still a comedian. You know, \u201can entertainer whose act is designed to make an audience laugh,\u201d as the dictionary defines it. Had no one laughed in that audience maybe those triggered on Twitter would have a valid point that Louis crossed a line or went too far or was just unfunny. But from the sounds of it, Mr. C.K. was effectively doing his job.<\/p>\n
