National Rifle Association executive vice president Wayne LaPierre spoke out about the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives attempt to “reclassify” aka ban M855 or “green tip” ammo while appearing on Fox News’ Varney & Co.
LaPierre put the blame for the ammo ban squarely on the shoulders of the president, saying Obama is “grasping at straws” since he failed to pass a federal ban on so-called “assault weapons” during his tenure in the White House.
“This is a president that hates the Second Amendment, hates the constitutional right of Americans to own firearms,” LaPierre said. “He can’t win at the ballot box, he can’t win in Congress, so he’s putting on his dictator’s hat and he’s going to do it by fiat. And we’re not going to let it happen.”
LaPierre mentioned that over 200 members of Congress have already signed a letter opposing Obama’s ammo ban.
“He’s simply trying to rewrite the rules to ban ammunition. And if he can ban this ammunition under this false premise, he can ban all ammunition.”
LaPierre concluded the interview by quoting English novelist and essayist George Orwell, “The farther society gets from the truth, the more they will punish those who speak it.”
The politicians are listening to those that elected them.
It was noted that Democracy can only last as long as it takes for people to figure out they can vote themselves benefits from the public funds, at the expense of those providing the funds. As long as the people vote in those that spend freely and promise to end crime by outlawing guns instead of making the punishment for using a gun to commit a crime so severe it will make a criminal cringe to think about using one.
Mr.LaPierre is right about Obama, he hates America more then Isis does, but he sure respects Isis ,so everyone knows where he stands or they should. I wish congress would listen to the people that put them in office. We can hope someday they will. GOD bless the USA and the NRA.
Hillery scares me about as much as Obama. Some say she will never be president. Well I said the same thing about Obama twice!!!! We have to get more people out to vote that think like we do as we will never changel the minds of the sheeple who vote the democratic ticket.
Not much changes with REPUBs nor DEMs, except the Big Gov’t gets Larger, more Intrusive, and more Violent no matter who is running it.

Obama obviously hates the way America is….which is to say he hates America at its core….why else would he try to “fundamentally change” our country. His words, not mine. The movie “Idiocracy” is coming to mind. Also, “Hunger Games”…if he gets his way. People need to wake up and start speaking out…or your rights will soon be gone.
