Video of Little Girl Dual Wielding Pistols Goes Viral, Everyone Freaks Out
Autumn Fry posts regular gun reviews on her YouTube channel, Autumn’s Armory.

A video from kid YouTube star Autumn Fry went viral this week, and everyone is freaking out.

The video itself isn’t new. It was released in 2020 on Fry’s Odysse channel, Autumn’s Armory, and shows the girl firing a semi-automatic handgun in each hand. It was recently re-posted on a Twitter page, LiVe2DaNceATL, and it has garnered 2.5 million views in less than a week.

“Say what you want, but she’ll be nobody’s victim,” said the page’s owner, TheBigDave.

As you can imagine, the Internet has weighed in. Some condemn Fry’s video as “child abuse,” and others claim Fry has a “sick” look on her face. Journalists at Newsweek were so concerned they published an entire article on the video.

Gun control advocates also weighed in. One predicted that Fry would end up an “unintentional killer” rather than a victim and cited trumped-up stats about unintentional firearm deaths among children.

Others expressed support for Fry and her video.

In the video, Fry can be seen firing each gun in turn with what looks like a two-fingered trigger pull. She maintains control of both firearms while shooting, but when one of the handguns jams, she checks the breach, shrugs, and tosses it on the ground.

Tossing the handgun earned her a few additional comments. Some point out that she’s obviously doing it “for show” (the video was uploaded as an outtake to another video) while others worry about how it reflects on the rest of the 2A community.

Videos of children shooting firearms go viral on a regular basis, and they always spark this kind of debate. In October of 2020, the husband of the pop star Pink got slammed on social media for posting images of his kids shooting firearms.

Fry’s father, Randy Fry, told Newsweek he set up his daughter’s social media accounts because “Autumn is an amazing little girl who is both a gun lover and a professional at handling them.”

“People who are Autumn’s age are the future of guns in America, and we hope that when other people see what Autumn can do, they will be inspired to at least give it a try themselves,” he said.

Bet she wouldn’t accidentally shoot a cinematographer

This little girl is sooo cute and fearless at the same time. Her handling of the Sig in the last video is better than many shooters 20-30 years her senior. You would think an 8 year old would violate the first rule of gun safety at least once especially when distracted making a video but she did not as far as I could see. Good job Dad, your daughter will be better prepared them most others to defend herself in the perilous days to come! I have a daughter that looks just like her turning 8 next month and you have inspired me to train her early. Keep up the good work Autumn.

Maybe she won’t be the victim of a scumbag—as to the anti gunners , quit crying

  • Dano October 8, 2021, 8:45 pm

Been watching her vids a long time.

She’s a good shot. Start em early.

Rather than a killer she’s more likely to become a world class competitor in the shooting sports.

  • Daddio7 October 8, 2021, 6:13 pm

I wonder how many times she has watched “Kick-Ass”

  • James T Matters October 8, 2021, 2:19 pm

In response to the moron who said because there were 400 accidental shootings nationwide, this prodigy will become a victim, how about you concern yourself more with the 4,174 shooting victims in the democrat run city of Chicago all by itself.

She will become the poster child for all the anti-gun organizations out there. I taught all three of my kids to shoot responsibly and don’t ever toss a firearm like a toy or as depicted in all these stupid Hollywood movies were gun play is involved. One last thing, just look at all the lead saturated air she is breathing, that will pose a problem later in life especially if she decides to have children.

Leave her alone, if in America people can fight to rip babies out of a mothers womb and then use those baby parts for a vaccine, this little girl can shoot all she wants in my book!

      😀👏🏼

From the various Tweets it looks like the cringy crowd has their shorts in a bunch.

I think this great! I started shooting at the age of six. Every child should learn about guns and gun safety. All of my relatives shoot. They all started young like I did. Even my girlfriend has taken it up and her granddaughters have too.

  • BR549 October 8, 2021, 11:14 am

I noticed that she ALWAYS kept the weapon pointed down range, which when even considering her giggling moments shows that someone has been training her well. Her self assuredness was wonderful to see.

She kept displaying the pistol almost like it was a Barbie Doll, noting how pretty it was and admiring the color. Such a “girl.” :o) I know the libtards will be going ballistic over this, but she did such a great job and was so comfortable doing it.

If she was with a group of students on a field day and someone found a pistol lying on the ground, while the panty-wetting liberal teacher and the other kids were calling 911 and shrieking, this girl would have dropped the mag, cleared the breach, and handed it to the teacher before the 911 call was even answered.

Would that all children had parents such as hers.

    Loved that smile!

  • Larry Hanna October 8, 2021, 11:02 am

She needs some gun handling instruction. Too weak of a grip will cause stovepipes. Frontsight in Pahrump, Nevada is where she needs to attend firearms school.

  • gary holfstra October 8, 2021, 11:02 am

It didn’t look like the first pistol didn’t jammed, the magazine was empty. Bravo to her and her parents.

  • Jim Parker October 8, 2021, 11:01 am

Considering the toxic BS that her local public schools are contemplating for our children, her trips with pop to the gun range are harmless fun.

  • Big Al 45 October 8, 2021, 10:31 am

The negative comments are rife with assumptions, mostly of the kind made by ignorant, and worse, biased idiots.
So, by teaching my daughter to shoot as I did, she will be a killer?!?!?!?!?!
    What a thoroughly stupid statement.
But then MOST anti gun people are either stupid, or ignorant.

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL. THIS WAY THEY WILL BE KNOWLEDGEABLE TO TEACH OTHERS. BY NOT BEING TAUGHT THE WRONG WAY TO HANDLE AND USE WEAPONS. THE FOLKS WHO ARE AGAINST THIS REALLY SHOULD BE TAUGHT THAT THE WORLD IS CHANGING AND YOU ,MUST BE ABLE TO PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE WEARING ROSE COLORED GLASSES. WAKE UP FOLKS!!! WHY DO YOU WANT AND SIT AROUND UNTIL ITS TOO LATE. SAL E. DE.

This is the problem with people, mind your own business. Stay out of other people’s lives. This video was for entertainment and was safe. Get over it and move on

  • Bubba Gee October 8, 2021, 9:14 am

She reminds of niece, a fearless little critter! She be just fine and daddy’s girl too! We as a community will never have to worry about her safety as transitions in adulthood!

    Cheers!

  • Dave October 8, 2021, 9:08 am

Hell yeah!!! Start em young and keep.em safe!!! I do the same with mine

  • Eric October 8, 2021, 9:08 am

Outstanding! Loved the video and went and watched a couple more. Nice to see a father and daughter enjoying a hobby together.

  • Mort October 8, 2021, 8:17 am

In the South we teach our kids (girls included) to understand that guns are not toys.

We teach them gun safety and how to hunt turkeys with their parents (moms included)…..

Any parent that does NOT teach their kids (especially girls) how to defend themselves are no parents at all.

  • triggerpull October 8, 2021, 7:30 am

    Staged, who cares.

  • survivor50 October 8, 2021, 7:27 am

The only problem I see… is the gun is TOO big for her hand !!!

    And yet she manages …

  • Clyde Rockey October 8, 2021, 7:09 am

Absolutely love it! This little girl can handle a firearm better than most adults. As far as throwing the gun towards the end. I believe that one had a malfunction and for obvious reasons she threw it because she couldn’t clear it and went on engaging the target!!!!

  • Punisher6 October 8, 2021, 6:52 am

The first time that I took my daughter shooting she was 18 months old. She sat on my lap and shot a .22 Cricket single shot. I loaded it with bird shot so that she would be sure to score hits on confetti filled balloons.
She upgraded to an AR-15 towards the end of grade school.
BTW: she would not throw a gun on the ground.

  • Dr Motown October 8, 2021, 6:02 am

She’s much more knowledgable about guns than I was at that age, and she’s found a great hobby to share with her dad. No worries from me about her being “sick”
