Shipping and receiving giant United Parcel Service (UPS) is not fulfilling its obligations as packages containing ammunition are not reaching their intended destination, according to a report by Bearing Arms.

Our fellow pro-2A publication spoke to Patrick Collins, owner of The Gun Food, an ammo distributor, about irregularities pertaining to certain orders.

Recently, Collins shipped out 18,000 rounds only to have UPS deliver 6,000 rounds to customers.

“They’re not even making it. And I don’t know what they are doing in the facilities, if they are purposefully damaging them. However, they are not making it to the customer,” Collins told John Petrolino of Bearing Arms

“Now for every batch that does ship, we actually ship everything insured. And usually, depending on the quantity or the value of the shipment, we’ll ship it with some type of signature required,” he continued.

“So it’s funny when they try to say, ‘well, you know, you put in too many claims.’ And it’s like, ‘well, no, I didn’t put in too many claims. Well, our customer never received their package that we had shipped.’”

GunsAmerica reached out to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearms industry trade association, to see if they have fielded similar complaints about UPS or other carriers.

An NSSF spokesperson told us that they are presently monitoring the situation and gathering information.  Expect more developments in the near future.

This report comes on the heels of another that UPS is voluntarily complying with the Biden Administration’s new rules regarding so-called “ghost guns,” and targeting packages for seizure and destruction.

“UPS’s policy now clarifies that the company does not accept any firearms, frames or receivers, or partially complete, disassembled, or nonfunctional frames or receivers (as defined by the new federal regulation) unless those items have been identified and given a serial number in compliance with federal requirements,” UPS said in a statement obtained by Vice News.

Two companies have become early casualties of UPS’s new policy: Firearm retailer Brownells and Florida gun dealer Ghost Firearms.

UPS abruptly terminated its accounts with each company.

As always, stay tuned for updates.

Im sure of the anti gun company named Mr. Brown ( UPS ) doesn’t want your business then Fed Ex will gladly take your hard earned money/business . maybe UPS will fall by the wayside just like Sears did . they also thought they could do their customers wrong and not have it come and Bite them in the Ass in the end . BYE UPS…..

This same thing happened way back when. FFLs would ship a gun and it was never delivered…actually stolen by UPS employees…who were never caught, investigated or charged…So UPS changed their shipping policies requiring overnight and air delivery…rather than take care of the problem employees. Guess we are back to it again. Stuff just doesn’t disappear into thin air ya know? Have the supervisors go check the dumpsters outside a couple times a day…One place stuff disappeared to. Picked out at quitting time. Not just with guns or ammo!

Stopped using UPS when they first announced these shenanigans! FedEx is happy to have my business.

USPS is doing the same thing. If you dont send signature required they just show tracking as delivered and you are SOL because they won”t investigate anything.

Having to buy insurance to cover what they are supposed to do in the first place is an extortion business model.

I had them pull that on me. However, I have video surveillance where they claimed it was placed. Video trumped their bogus claim that they delivered it. They left it at the wrong house ! It was miraculous that they found it and delivered it the next day !!

The federal requirements you’re referring to aren’t in effect yet. Don’t make stuff up.

You’re a courier, not an anti-human-rights activism group.
