Overview

Odin Works has a long history of innovation, and specializes mostly in AR parts upgrades. Handguards to triggers, they do everything. They also were early adopters of 6.5, and have been making a complete Grendel upper for years. This year had some smaller parts in the offerings, but ones you are going to want.

The new carbine stock from Odin Works really caught the author’s attention.

Carbine Buttstock

New from Odin Works is a really cool adjustable buttstock for carbine ARs. It is a simple and easy to use stock that is comfortable and adaptable. It is based on a carbine buffer system.

Mag Release

First of was an extended, skeletonized magazine release button. This little guy gives just enough added real estate to be faster, but not so much you will accidentally drop your magazine if you look at it wrong. Full review on this coming soon.

Odin Works has a new 6.5mm muzzle device out.

6.5 Muzzle Brake

Next up was a new 6.5 muzzle brake, that is sure to be a hit. The innovative ATLAS compensator is a three-piece design that makes installation a snap. The core and cap are made of stainless steel, coated with isonite. The sleeve that goes over is all titanium. All of the tuning is done with the sleeve, eliminating the need for shims or crush washers. That is going to make life a lot easier. Look for this on upcoming 6.5 rifle tests. Also available for 9mm carbines.

Charging Handle

Last, but certainly not least, a new extended charging handle latch. Built with the competitor in mind, this makes charging your rifle with an optic on it a snap. Extremely ergonomic, a quick and easy upgrade to any mil-spec charging handle.

I have bought and use several of their products, all have preformed very well. Great quality and function as good as it gets. I notice that they are located in Idaho. Seems quite a few of the firearms industry companies have moved to Idaho. I will try their new light weight AR but stock as soon as I can get it.

Now, if they ever manufacture enough to ever have any in stock, they might make a tidy bundle.

Odin Works is an outstanding company. Their products feature top quality machining, fit, and finish. I am running their 5.56 Nitride BCG in my latest build and it works flawlessly. Their customer service is top shelf, too.
