I got a question. The Navy told us to swim underwater to evade gunfire. So we did as we were told. The “Mythbusters” did a segment and showed even several feet of water did no good. Yet this guy says about a foot of water stops most anything.
What is the trick?

I believe it’s because of the brief containment of the water during expansion by the plastic jugs.
