I have been a fan of Streamlight for most of my life. With that in mind, you can understand how eager I was to try a TLR-7 HL-X when Streamlight offered to send me one for review.

The new Defender P15 is a versatile every day carry flashlight and the first weapon light offering from AceBeam. Featuring a precision CNC machined 7075 aluminum body and 1700 lumens of output, the P15 is solidly built with impressive output for its size. The Rein Micro provides users a very potent and capable light that combines a high lumen count with a massive amount of candela. The Baldr lineup from Olight has received mixed reviews. When they told me they were announcing a new Baldr model, I was hoping they fixed some of the shortcomings of the previous versions. A week later the new light showed up at my door. Opening the package revealed the new Baldr-S laser/light pistol light.

Introduced last summer, the Olight Odin was their first long gun weapon mounted light with an impressive 2,000 lumen output and 300 meter throw distance. Olight includes a remote pressure switch, and everything needed to mount the Odin on standard picatinny rails.

When it comes to getting into Night Vision, most everything is expensive and you need quite a bit to just get into the game. Streamlight has a great offering that gets you in at a decent price while giving you a lot of capability. I’m talking about the VIR II Weapon Light.

The new Odin Turbo LEP from Olight is essentially a light saber. The beam is hyper focused into a single hotspot and is ideal for anyone looking to do long range night time shooting or hunting.

The Viridian XTL with Cam is a 500-lumen waterproof weapon light with a high definition camera built into the unit (has audio). I tested it at a 2 gun night match and the results are as follows.
