Woox, the rifle stock and outdoor equipment company, is officially announcing that they are making stocks for the hugely popular Ruger 10/22 family of rimfire rifles.

Tom Gresham and the Gun Talk Radio family are celebrating over 25 years of radio programming with the limited edition GT25, a Ruger Custom Shop 1911 Commander chambered for 10mm Auto.

With a 2.8-inch barrel and slightly wider frame, the MAX is just a tiny bit larger than the original, but packs a whole lot more, up to 12+1 with a lot of new features.

Binary triggers are completely good to go, they are unregulated just like any other standard trigger assembly, but will fire when the trigger is released in addition to when it’s pulled.

Those who have followed my writing over the years will, no doubt, remember that I am a self-avowed Smith J-frame addict. That being said, more than one friend has encouraged me to take a serious look at Ruger’s little LCR. This assignment was just the nudge I needed.

I recently evaluated the Ruger LCR in .38 Special. As a follow-up, I wanted to evaluate the LCR in .22 LR. eing a fan of the Smith & Wesson J-frame, I am fortunate to own a Model 43C which is also chambered in .22 LR. This review also gave me an opportunity to compare the LCR with the Smith.

If you’re not first with a new innovation, then you’d better bring something extra to the table. And that is exactly what Ruger has done with the MAX-9. I am duly impressed by it – the MAX-9 is a very legit contender.

Ruger has discovered that a small number of Ruger-57™ pistols may have right safety levers that do not meet our specifications and may be prone to cracking.

The MAX-9 is a polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol but with other upgrades that will make it compete with the likes of Glock, SIG Sauer and Springfield in the micro-compact market.
