The Second Amendment Foundation today filed a federal lawsuit against Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson and several other officials, challenging the state ban on so-called “large capacity magazines” for rifles and pistols.

“But I don’t think that the people who have them right now in civilian use should be able to keep them,” he added.

“A 9 mm bullet blows the lung out of the body,” he continued. “There’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of self-protection, hunting.” 

“I think it’s reasonable to say: does a civilian need more than a 10-round magazine in their guns?” Jacobs asked.

Instead of demonizing gun owners and the firearms industry, bring them to the table and benefit from their knowledge.
