“This year, I signed the most significant gun reform in a generation, but that is not nearly enough. We must take greater action,” he said.

“We need to enact an assault weapons ban to get weapons of war off America’s streets. House Democrats acted, and the Senate should follow.”

It was a sad week for gun owners in the Beaver State as Ballot Measure 114 passed into law by the narrowest of margins with just over 50 percent of voters favoring it.  

Pot smokers may still not exercise their 2A rights without violating federal law, and that includes those who use cannabis for medical purposes.  

Bill Clinton wants Congress to renew the ’94 ban on so-called “assault weapons,” which expired in 2004.

The new law broadly prohibits the production, sale, purchase, receipt, transfer, and possession of magazines with a capacity of over 17 rounds.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced last week a national “freeze” on the purchase, sale, and transfer of handguns.  

The Cherokee Community School District in Western Iowa is now allowing some staff members to carry guns on campus.
