After putting over 300 rounds through the Remington 1911 R1 Hunter FDE 10MM pistol, I recommend this semi-automatic as a top firearms investment for at least two reasons.

Wheelgun Perfection: S&W Model 640
BY Rob Garrett Published: February 7, 2021 { 37 comments }The stainless construction, combined with the longer barrel, made the 640 significantly easier to shoot when compared with the alloy guns. My friends have told me that I’ve never met a J-frame that I didn’t like. That is not quite the case but certainly, the new 640 has a lot to offer.
Dan Wesson TCP – Elegance Goes Tactical
BY Justin Opinion Published: October 18, 2020 { 10 comments }I consistently say that I try to judge a gun by how well I can shoot it, not by specs and rested accuracy results. The SIG P365 vs P365XL
BY Clay Martin Published: August 30, 2020 { 28 comments }When review time came around on the XL model, I gave it a hard pass. I was very happy with my normal-sized P365 and I wanted nothing to do with an abomination. But could this new, slightly larger model hold up in a CCW role? Despite being bitten in the past, I had to find out. So I got one, got some gun leather, and started carrying it.
Glock 43X: Now with 15 Round Flush Fit Capacity
BY Clay Martin Published: August 21, 2020 { 28 comments }43X is a serious contender for best CCW gun of all time. Even at 10 rounds, from the factory, the 43X is pretty damn good. But boosted with Shield Arms mags? This is a package that is very hard to beat.
