Nighthawk Custom is announcing a new line of double-stack 1911s for carry and competition called the Tactical Ready Series, or TRS.

Nighthawk Custom is putting their own Of course, neither Nighthawk Custom’s work nor the pony stamp come too cheap, and the Custom Colt Series 70 has a base price, as shown, of $2,599. Other add-ons and upgrades are available for a bit more, and may not be all that necessary. This is a solid package as-is. on the classic Colt Series 70 to make an all-around beaut of a Pony-bearing 1911.

Korth revolvers come standard in .357 Magnum, but you can purchase a spare cylinder chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. That’s great so that you don’t have to shoot the high recoil .357’s all the time. If you get a chance, you should go hold these guns and try the triggers. They are very fine.

Nighthawk is one of my favorite places to stop every year, if for no other reason, the unique twist they put on everything. Nighthawk is by far my favorite of the custom builders, and we are going to make it down to the shop in Arkansas one of these days.
