Kimber makes a fine hammerless revolver, but this year they’ve modified their K6s to include a double-action/single-action trigger. It comes with a 3″ or 2″ barrel and a 6-shot cylinder. The gun is all steel and it looks terrific. It’s got a recessed cylinder so it works with their speedloader. But it’s simple design also makes it shoot like a dream.

Not only can you change the grips and straps to fit your hands better, but you can also swap the magazine release to the right side, and you don’t need a gunsmith to do it. This is the first truly ambidextrous gun from Kimber in this size.

The newest version of the Hunter rifle, made to support a non-profit veterans’ support group, combines great looks, light weight and an affordable price.

Kimber announced this week their new product lineup for 2019, and along with small tweaks to their usual fare, the company offered something totally new: an all-metal striker-fired 9mm handgun they’re calling the EVO SP. The EVO SP departs from the 1911-style handguns and revolvers the company has historically produced, but Kimber says it’s ready for the real world.

My rifle features a 24-inch stainless fluted barrel with a 1-in-9 rate of twist. It’s factory threaded for a muzzle brake or suppressor and comes with a thread protector installed. The action is stainless and boasts a 3-position, model 70 type wing safety, a Mauser controlled-round-feed claw extractor, and a magazine capacity of four.

Kimber America, however, seems like the most unlikely company to be in the revolver market. Yes, the same Kimber famous for their 1911s.

The standard Kimber K6s Revolver is already a classy carry piece. Kimber is kicking it up a notch, though, announcing recently a laser-engraved model that is certainly going to turn some heads.

Kimber has been making waves with the K6s revolver line, which are words I never thought I would be typing. From the introduction 2 years ago, they have been steadily growing the line with more and more offerings. This year, three new models are set to debut.

Not only are the new Aegis Elite 1911s cut for mini red dot sights, these guns come with Vortex optics installed from the factory.
