If you love America, 1911’s, and think plastic pistols should be melted into Tupperware, then the Kimber Micro 9 Rapide Black Ice just might be the EDC you’ve been dreaming of. It’s small, thin, light, smooth, and absolutely gorgeous.

The Micro 9 is essentially a “Honey, I shrunk the 1911” design, with a few subtle changes. It’s available in a rainbow of bright metallic finishes that are – if nothing else – very eye catching!

The Rapide Black Ice maintains the basic Micro 9 feature set but adds all the hot Black Ice improvements and tweaks.

In my opinion, the K6 series of revolvers are some of the best personal defense revolvers on the market. In a world of polymer wonder nines, I appreciate that Kimber has dedicated significant resources to designing and manufacturing a solid wheelgun.
