For home defense, concealed carry, and recreational shooting, the SAR9 will do the job and then some. It is a fine pistol, very accurate, rugged, and reliable.

Selection of a load for self-defense use is a choice that is important because that load may be called upon to save your life. Fortunately, most major ammunition manufacturers make cartridges specifically designed for that use.

Under current conditions, buying any gun can be a challenge, and ammunition availability is even worse. One bright spot in the field is the venerable 12 gauge shotgun. Ammunition is in stock and selling for around normal retail, even if it is not present in unlimited quantities.

Someone goes into a gun store and buys a gun for self-defense. That’s the primary reason most people buy guns. He or she takes the gun home and puts it away for the just-in-case time when the goblins come. That new gun owner imagines grabbing the gun and fending off the intruder. But the person who has trained for that day and is serious about defense doesn’t imagine that.

Once it dawns on anyone who plans to carry discreetly that they need to figure out a way to carry the gun, the questions start. The obvious one is: How to carry it?

When review time came around on the XL model, I gave it a hard pass. I was very happy with my normal-sized P365 and I wanted nothing to do with an abomination. But could this new, slightly larger model hold up in a CCW role? Despite being bitten in the past, I had to find out. So I got one, got some gun leather, and started carrying it.

Criminals attack someone in the US every day. It’s a regular occurrence. That person is faced with the decision of what to do. If he or she is carrying a gun, he or she has more options than the person who is not carrying.

The SAINT AR-15 Pistol is handy, and is a fine choice for home defense, personal protection, as a truck gun, has some hunting applications, and is a hell of a lot of fun to just shoot.

I don’t buy for a second this is an organic protest. Someone is pulling the strings, which we can infer from the fact that the protests are worldwide.
