The 14th Amendment grants Congress the power to enact a remedy against state mistreatment of interstate travelers.

In conjunction with every anti-gun group under the sun, New York state lawmakers are pushing a bill to make confiscation easier.

“These are simple, easy-to-use devices that increase the firepower and killing power of firearms,” said former state Sen. Raymond Lesniak (D-Union) who sponsored the bill before he retired last week. “There is no legitimate need for these devices.”

“They think they’re better shots than the cops are. I call these guys ‘Walter Mitty’ iterations — they think they’re heroes,” Burridge told the Herald.

“Simply put, these devices are cheap, they are deadly, and they are completely and utterly unnecessary in our society,” said Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy at a press conference this week.

“I just want people to be aware,” Pennak, a former Justice Department lawyer, told the Sun. “There’s so many ins and outs to gun laws, so many pitfalls and traps, this is probably one that’s easily overlooked.”

If enacted, offenders would be slapped with a class IV felony.  Which means that gun owners could receive as much as two years in prison for possessing what is currently lawfully-owned property.

On his second day in office, Westchester County Executive George Latimer signed an executive order prohibiting gun shows on county-owned property.
