While students across the country are staging walkouts at their schools Wednesday, some to protest for tougher gun laws, others probably just to skip class for a while, many young adults are silently joining gun rights organizations.

“This whole country is going nuts/ and the NRA is in our way/ they’re responsible for this whole production/ they hold the strings, they control the puppet,” rapped Slim Shady.

“Every student in Florida has the right to learn in a safe environment, and every parent has the right to send their kids to school knowing that they will return safely at the end of the day,” said the Republican governor in his address. “Today, I am signing bipartisan legislation that helps us achieve that.” 

Virginia congressional candidate Karen Mallard may have grown up “surrounded by guns,” but that didn’t help her avoid the ignorant mistakes so common among anti-gun politicians.

Narrowly, by a vote of 20-18, the Senate approved bills to ban gun sales to anyone under the age of 21, prohibit the purchase and possession of bump stocks and establish a three-day wait period for all gun buyers.
