Just weeks after the historically anti-gun Ninth Circuit Court ruled in favor of open carry, the left-leaning American Civil Liberties Union filed a brief last week backing the National Rifle Association in their lawsuit against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

A New York Sheriff’s office has forced a gun store to close and has seized hundreds of firearms after the store was recently burglarized for the seventh time in eleven years.

In high contrast to nearly every other non-U.S. country, Israel passed a law on Monday that would expand the number of citizens eligible for firearms ownership licenses. As justification for the new policy, Israel’s Security Minister Gilad Erdan cited increased protection from “lone wolf” terrorist attacks.

Today two new stories emerged detailing how e-commerce and credit card processing companies have discriminated against gun-related manufacturers. Nevada-based Franklin Armory announced yesterday that Shopify, the host of their online store, suddenly changed their terms of service to disallow the sale of lawful, non-firearm items such as flash suppressors, threaded barrels, pistol grips, and even magazines larger than 10 rounds.

“As mentioned in the [police] report, it is possible that this weapon could have been stolen or misplaced during Sheriff Valdez’s moving transition and she is working with the Dallas County Sheriff Department to locate the firearm,” said spokesman Juan Bautista Dominguez.

A new advertising campaign by the Brady Campaign and Center to Prevent Gun Violence claims that every day in the United States eight children die or are injured by unintentional gunshot wounds. There’s just one problem: it isn’t true.

“It would be highly unusual for a state to allow an insurance company to reimburse for an illegal activity. They call it ‘murder insurance,'” the governor told CNN.

“We have people who think it’s okay to kill an intruder into their house,” said one anti-NRA protester during the “March on NRA” rally this weekend.
