“Two guys walked up there with guns, shirts pulled up as masks.” He added, “Sad that someone died, but better than innocent people getting killed.”

Frustration boiled over on the streets of Kansas City early Wednesday morning when a homeowner, tired of being repeatedly victimized by car break-ins, defended his property and safety with gunfire.

Police are still investigating, and no charges have been filed against the homeowner. It looks like a textbook case of self-defense under Texas law.
