This game-changing accessory for your smartphone works with the new surefire cell phone case that they released earlier this month. It mounts to the back of the case in a notch and groove arrangement.

The FirePak is a combination of the following: a rechargeable battery pack, a flash for your camera and a flashlight. If you know Surefire, you know that they don’t do things half-ass and the FirePak is no exception. This bad boy is capable of providing, either through the manual switch or via Bluetooth, up to 1,500 lumens of death-blinding light!
Surefire provides you with an app that allows your smartphone to sync up with FirePak. This will provide more than enough light for flash photography or video recording. The USB connector is used to recharge the FirePak or power your smartphone. There is a manual switch that can be used to control the five light output settings from five to 1500 lumens.

The MSRP for the FirePak is $249.00. It should hit stores in the next 30 days. The phone case is sold separately, and that retails for $29.99. It is currently available for the iPhone 6/S & Galaxy S5.
MODULAR SUPPRESSOR FOR 9 MM PISTOLS & CARBINES
Surefire has actually come up with what I think is a money-saving idea and that is a modular suppressor. The Ryder 9 suppressor from Surefire for 9 mm pistols and rifles gives you the option to shorten the overall system, should you require less length and weight for the task at hand. When maximum sound suppression is a priority, simply add the modular component. This allows you to only have to pay one transfer tax and get the benefit of getting both a rifle and a handgun suppressor.

LED and lithium Technology Is not as expensive as it use to be. Stop overcharging us I own the X300 and love it but still don\’t get the price point. Surefire makes top quality items but I feel lately that\’s all these new equipment coming out at the shot show is over priced and it looks like there takeing advantage of gun enthusiasts like myself . This hobby is expensive enough and prices are going up for every new gun that is coming out. Sure fire is a great company but I hope that prices will be competitive with everything else in the market and this phone light is stupid and way overpriced. What will they think of next and overcharge you for.

I “second” the recommendation, advising the purchase of used military backpacks. Our family purchase the Marine Corps backpack, capable of holding 120 pounds. Like the author of the article, I couldn’t dream of holding that much but it’s nice to have that availability. We purchase the assault pack that attaches to it as well as the Camelback Marine Corps hydration system. Previously, we had bought the cheap Chinese backpacks. Save it for a range bag. Maybe. But if you can’t even carry 20 pounds comfortably, why waste the money? Go with the real meal deal and buy military. The support system is far superior. I am NOT a young man, but it will allow me to carry more comfortably.
That Surefire can looks alost like a dead wringer for the Inova LED flashlight that was released about 12-15 years back.
