Caution: This is not for the faint-hearted. But that’s sorta the point of Spike’s Tactical “Snowflake” lower receiver.

What are your thoughts on the receiver? Is it too gimmicky or something you’d actually purchase?
You know, the one for sandy hook should have a kid holding a magazine sitting on the magwell… Grow up guys, quit being offended. If you don’t like it then don’t buy it. I live my life by the “I don’t care what you do with your body or money or time. Just don’t affect my life with it.” mind sety and it works just fine for me. Just saying.
I’m not a huge fan of anti-fascist, in the modern sense anyway. But my grandpa did fight white supremacists in Europe. So this response to people complaining about spikes support of Charlottesville, which was a white supremacist Gathering is pretty reprehensible. They can make fun of snowflakes and stuff all they want it’s no skin off my back. But I’ll never be buying anything from spikes, because of their response to people saying they shouldn’t support white supremacist.
This is pretty bad.
It would probably be best as just an unfinished billet. It’s the kind of thing I’d see as a novelty paperweight rather than an actual working firearm. I’m not opposed to imbuing the receiver with a bit of humor, but the execution of the joke falls a little flat. It’s like they want to satirize the liberal mentality but don’t have the comedic skills to follow through. “Safe space” and “triggered” are both pretty funny, but “full-libturd” doesn’t make a lot of sense. I’d go with something like “I can’t even”. Instead of the child-like unicorn drawing, make it all butch and stylized like the rest of their logos and emblazoned with “Social Justice Warfare” or some such.
To me firearms are tools, not fashion or political statements. I would hate to find myself on the stand after using a weapon with this lower to defend my life. For that reason alone this is a non-starter for me, although is is funny.
Joking about the fire setting on a firearm is appalling. Oh but they have a different political affiliation and philosophy. I love firearms and they’re my life. This is the dumbest damn thing I’ve ever seen. No surprise when I still see imbeciles praising this New York narcissist, grandiose, incompetent Ham. It’ll look great when some half wit shoots some college kids, a reporter, scientist or anyone protesting against racist Nazis.
Maybe they can make a Kids receiver for the next Sandy Hook. Such people can’t spell American any more than that orange arrogant moron can. I look forward to the demise of such an idiotic company. There’s nothing funny about this in this Climate in particular. No surprise from the lowest common denominator.

This utterly idiotic move by Spikes was born in the same ignorance, Intolerance and irrational hatred. You either heep praise on him or you’re “Fake News”. It’s just more sickening and disconcerting by the day if not hour. I passionately love my country and its ideals since it opened the door for all to live free and pursue happiness. I’m for everyone’s equal rights and what we’re seeing at present. It’s a backlash from a mixed man who looked blacker than white. It’s the eb and flow that accompanies charge to lighter, better times. Even all this required a massive influx of misinformation and coordination, even from a despised rival power that cost America thousands of its bravest by arming our adversaries. And yet they’ll praise this fraud, the Constitution while ignoring the entire spirit of it simultaneously. Stay peaceful, keep the high road but never fail to call out injustice. It’s better than it was and it’s ever harder for them to spread idiotic hate in newer generations. It’ll get better if we survive this Putin praising sociopath.

I think this is hilarious. I’m tempted to get one to go with my punisher lower and my home made ghost gun that has a ghost figure on the mag well with his own AR and flipping off the viewer.

It’s a joke. I think? I think another person said it on here that it is making gun owners look bad. I can see how he comes to that conclusion. I also find it a little funny. The promotion of this product by this online source is precisely what is wrong with the pro-gun establishment. As a responsible gun owner, I find this commentary to be counter productive and actually very harmful to the future of the gun loving public. I will never buy the trash that Spikes Tactical offers.

Thank you! I’m a gunsmith and love firearms. I can’t ever recall a manufacturer doing anything so appalling in my life and beyond. I have a machine shop after injury ended my career as a Machinist. Political discourse and forward thinking is what made this Nation what it is. Now we’re at war with the free press and the entire scientific community.
