SIG Now Offering Manual Safety, 15-Round Mags for P365
SIG’s new 15-round mag ships with two baseplates. MSRP is $49.

The P365 is, by all accounts, the best selling micro concealed-carry pistol on the market.  While it’s smaller and lighter than many of its competitors, what put it on top was its game-changing capacity: 10+1 rounds with a flush-fit mag and 12+1 rounds with an extended.

Now SIG is officially announcing, although it was leaked last week, the release of a new 15-round extended magazine that will be both compatible with the original P365 and the soon-to-be-released P365XL.

“The SIG SAUER P365 15-round magazine provides an additional 5 rounds to the P365 everyday carry pistol, and maximizes the pistol’s versatility,” says SIG in a press release.

“The increased capacity of the 15-round magazine allows for additional ammunition for everyday carry, longer practice times, less reloads, and increased grip purchase,” it continues.

MSRP for the 15 rounders is $49.  They ship with an installed baseplate for the P365 and with an additional baseplate to fit all XSERIES P365 models.

Along with the new mag, SIG also announced that the P365 with Manual Safety (P365-MS) is currently shipping and available at your local GunsAmerica dealers.

The safety on the P365-MS is ambidextrous.  And there will be a Massachusetts complaint variant of the P365-MS available next month.

Remember when cars were all big and then they started getting smaller, and then they started getting bigger again?
The 365 is smaller, etc. etc. The Hellcat is even smaller. And then the 365 gets bigger, and now it looks like it has a full size grip. Wonder how they will enlarge the Hellcat.
I prefer a gun that fits my hand and holds enough ammo to allow me to defend myself.
