SCCY, known for their colorful and affordable sub-compact pistols for concealed carry, is teaming up with Davidson’s for a special run of cheetah print DVG pistols chambered for 9mm Luger.
The DVG line of handguns are polymer-framed, striker-fired pistols with a compact, 3.1-inch barrel and a 10+1-round capacity. And while they’re often very accessibly priced, for the month of July they’re even more affordable.
SCCY is offering a $50 gift card (.pdf) to everyone who purchases a DVG-1 through July 31, and $25 gift cards on select other SCCY pistols including the CPX-1 Gen 3, CPX-2 Gen 3, CPX-3 and CPX-4.
The CPX-1 and CPX-2 are chambered for 9mm while the CPX-3 and CPX-4 are chambered for .380 ACP. Those models are hammer-fired with a double-action-only trigger and available with or without a manual thumb safety.
All have polymer frames, 3-inch barrels, give or take, a 10+1-round capacity in 9mm and .380, with an unloaded weight right around 15 ounces, including the new cheetah print model. They also use Glock 43-pattern sights which gives users a huge advantage when customizing their pistols.
The cheetah print DVG is configured without an accessory rail and no manual thumb safety. It also has a flat-faced trigger set at 5.5 pounds, a nearly flush magazine release, and a generous slide release lever.
The 10-round magazines provide a slight extension for a full, three-fingered grip and the front strap has deep finger grooves for improved control over the small, lightweight handgun. It also has forward and rear slide serrations.
The stainless steel slide and other small components have a black nitride finish for wear- and corrosion resistance, although many color and finish options are available with other models.

SCCY pistols are best known for their low price and the cheetah print model stays true to their model. With a suggested price of $359 and the $50 rebate, buyers will have plenty left over for holsters, spare magazines, and ammo.
Even though the new cheetah print edition is meant for concealed carry, shooters who like the way their guns look practice with them more, and that’s always a good thing.

Nice to see proper tools for pimpin in the 21st century. Does it come with the matching feathered hat and white high rise shoes?
Oh, that is tacky. My mother-in-law would love it!
I usually am down on combat tupperware, especially when it is THAT tacky, but SCCY puts out a decent product, made in America, an excellent example of making quality products inexpensively with modern manufacturing techniques. Part of me wishes they made one in .45, part of me dreads trying to shoot that theoretical weapon.
That is not a cheetah print. That is a leopard print. They are distinctly different.
I LOVE this, It will match my spandex leopard print pants that I wear every day perfectly!!!
