Ruger is celebrating this summer with their newest American Flag series just in time for the Fourth of July. The US Flag lineup features rifles, pistols, and carbines all decorated with the stars and stripes.
As a home-grown bonus, Arizona and North Carolina are getting special edition .22s with their state flags flown on the slides. The other models include two AR-556-pattern guns, a braced pistol and a carbine, a 9mm PC Carbine and a Ruger Precision Rifle and Precision Rimfire bolt-action rifle.
The long guns all come standard with M-Lok forends that free-float the barrels. They are also “optics-ready” which helps keep prices down and gives the user more options when selecting optics or iron sights.
Ruger really picked crowd-pleasers for their flag series and hopefully this is only the beginning. These select models will move fast and will probably command a slight jump in price over the standard versions.
Still, the suggested retail prices for all the guns is in-line with the basic options which makes them a solid deal for the quality finish. All of the flags are applied using Cerakote, which is a nice premium finish.

The MSRP for the SR22 pistols is the lowest at $479 with the rimfire rifle coming in at $579. The PC Carbine rolls in at $779 and the AR-556 guns run the most at $979. These are suggested prices and while most gun shops have real-world prices a bit lower, special editions and dealer exclusives like these often sell for a little extra compared to base models.
These guns are currently shipping to dealers so availability may take a little while but people should be able to pick these up in the coming weeks. There ought to be plenty of Summer left to enjoy these patriotic firearms.
For the holiday Ruger is also having a sale on their web store. Of course, they don’t sell firearms, just accessories, so be sure to shop GunsAmerica.com for all your Flag Series wants and needs.
haha the guy who replied is funny
Do you sell Henry rifles
Our American flag is beautiful and worthy of respect. Art wrapped on a rifle is a stupid marketing gimmick, ugly, and dumb. But, hey, if that’s what folks like to blow their money on, whatever.
I bet you’re a real blast at parties.
