Groups of armed citizens are working at the southern border to help law enforcement find and detain immigrants trying to get into the United States illegally, according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal.
Some sheriffs are welcoming the help as their communities and criminal justice systems are overwhelmed with the increasing number of migrants. A new Texas law allows state troopers to arrest illegal immigrants on misdemeanor trespassing charges, and these groups are working to find migrants and notify law enforcement.
The number of migrants encountered by the border patrol spiked over the summer to a 21-year high, and even though those numbers have tapered off in recent months, local law enforcement in communities like Kinney County, Texas, have struggled to handle the influx of new trespassers.
They’ve turned to groups like the Patriots for America Militia for help.

Samuel Hall, the leader of this group, told the Journal that his volunteers don’t arrest the migrants they find. Like most states, Texas only allows private individuals to arrest other people if they are committing a felony.
His group of volunteers conducts patrols on private property to look for migrants who may have crossed the border illegally. If they find someone, they contact local authorities and administer humanitarian aid when necessary.
Kinney County Sheriff Brad Coe told the Journal he has met with Hall, and he considered deputizing some of the Patriots for America members until he received pushback from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The Texas DPS told the Journal that it does not support sheriffs working with “militias,” but denied accusations that it has threatened to withhold state funding from those who do.
Kinney County is located on the U.S.-Mexico border to the west of San Antonio. The ranching community only has about 3,500 residents, but the majority of the 2,000 migrants arrested under the new Texas law are being housed in county facilities.

Sheriff Coe has also considered working with Christie Hutcherson and her group, Women Fighting for America, according to the Journal. This group has made appearances in various border areas, but like Hall’s group, it’s unclear exactly what they’ve accomplished.
Hutcherson reportedly offered the sheriff the services of her armed volunteers and a high-tech drone, but her price was higher than the Sheriff Department’s annual budget, according to Coe.
Groups like the ACLU and the Southern Poverty Law Center have criticized sheriffs like Coe for their willingness to work with private citizens on immigration issues.
“Kinney County has not just sought to partner with militias, but also war contractors,” one ACLU spokeswoman told the Journal. “That indicates a level of militarization that is particularly concerning and alarming in the potential for violence.”
Hall told the outlet he has no plans to stop working at the border.

Sheriff Coe, do not allow the DPS idiots to interfere with your duty. You are the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for your county. You answer only to the People. Deputize with impunity, it is your duty and you are fully authorized by the US and Texas Constitutions.

I’m sick and tired of how militia and citizen groups are always portrayed as “patriots”, armed to assist law enforcement with immigration enforcement. Give it a break. The majority of these”patriots/citizen are nothing more than WASP, and Hate groups, acting under the guise of patriots and citizens attempting to protect the their own interest of being the dominant race in this Country. They fear any immigration by non-white. specifically brown skinned peoples. These militias/citizen groups are as dangerous as the KKK, Proud Boys, and other white supremist groups acting as “Citizens and Patriots” to protect the United States. Please! You still believe you are manifested and destined to be the rightful Owners of our Country? I don’t believe Slavery worked out very well, and i could list a many, many more. Did you forget how the.immigrants from Europe invaded this Country? And another insult from the Gun lobby, and the.Manufacturers who promote the shameful activities of militia groups, by equating firearms with patriotism. You’re obsessed with becoming a
minority in a Country that you feel is rightfully yours, because you were “manifested” to do so. You should, or better yet get over it.

Stop acting like a victim and start becoming part of the solution. Whatever issues you have with the Europeans pushing out the native Americans, that practice has been happening throughout all of human history. The difference between thousands of years ago and now is that the elite parasites don’t want any part of individuals within the population even attempt any form of spiritual evolution. If that were allowed, the population would realize that they never needed these parasites in the first place.
If you’re a citizen of this country, start acting like it and protect its borders and every legal citizen within them. That includes Blacks, Native Americans, Jews, Asian-Americans, etc., and in your case, yes, even Whites, whom you seem so eager to despise.
