The Micro Scout light model M140A is a great addition to the Surefire line of products. It is powered by a single AAA battery and mounts with either MLOK or small Picatinny clamp. This 300 lumen light can definitely decrease the profile and weight of having a light on the front of your carbine. The M140A has a MSRP of $289.

The other big, micro news was the XSC weapons lights. These are made model specific to fit the Sig 365’s, Glock 48 or the Springfield Armory Hellcats. These 350 lumen lights put the micro back into having a light on your micro compact pistol. They are powered by a proprietary rechargeable battery to allow getting the size down to fit the micro pistols. The XSC-xx retails for $329 and comes with the required charger.
