LMT-AT ION 30 caliber suppressor.

At SHOT Show 2022, LMT Advanced Technologies showed off a prototype of a new “zero back pressure” suppressor, the ION 30. While LMT has been well known for years, the ION 30 is the all-new flagship product being released from LMT-Advanced Technologies.

Designed to eliminate back pressure, this suppressor features a unique barrel chamber that disrupts expanding gases but still allows the gas to flow through the suppressor. The ION 30 was touted as being designed for gas guns with no barrel restrictions while maintaining a full-auto rating.

Featuring new technologies, the ION 30 is made from Inconel, 17-4 stainless steel, and 4140 steel alloy with a laser-welded construction. Utilizing a C-192 Armorer Black Cerakote, this suppressor should provide great corrosion resistance. Incorporating Xeno mount compatibility, LMT-AT is allowing consumers to use many of the existing muzzle devices on the market.

Weighing in at 19 ounces at 7.14″ long, the ION 30 should be both manageable and effective. Also included with the suppressor is a 5/8×24″ 7.62 SP muzzle mount, the ION tool, and a user’s manual.

The ION 30 comes in with an MSRP of $899, and LMT is already shipping. LMT will offer different mounts and suppressor lengths in the near future, but for now, the 7.14″ ION 30 is ready to go.
