Socialite and reality TV star Kim Kardashian West’s tweets on Texas shooter David R. Conley III and his alleged online firearm and ammunition purchase has touched off a heated debate between pro and anti-gunners.

Her anti-gun comment was about Conley III, the convicted felon who executed eight people in his Texas home, including six children.
Gun control organizations feasted on the celebrity’s tweet and thanked her for leadership and for “speaking out.”
“Thank you, Kim for speaking out about our broken gun laws!” Everytown for Gun Safety wrote on Facebook.
But not everyone was keen on Kardashian West’s tweet, and many have called her out for spreading non-factual information.
“. @KimKardashian False. Background checks apply and must be sent through an FFL. You may want to learn a bit more about this first,” tweeted Dana Loesch.
Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts was quick to rush to the Kardashian West’s defense.
“.@donkermit @KimKardashian Not required if you meet in person in states that haven’t closed background check loophole,” she tweeted.
But Loesch didn’t back down and fired back.
