Interview with Alan Gottlieb, Second Amendment Foundation

in Authors, Interviews, S.H. Blannelberry, This Week

At the NRA Show we had a chance to speak with Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation.

We talked about concealed carry in our nation’s capital, the increasing popularity of permitless or Constitutional carry, the NRA show and Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid.

It’s always a pleasure to connect with Alan.

    Good job, Mr. Gottlieb
Thank you and your organization for fighting for us.
I’ll hold my opinion of the tie.

I take Gottleib with a bit of salt. The battle over I-594 here in WA was not well managed, and the anti-2nd people established a foothold and precedent. Myself and some others reached out to the NRA for help in funding, advertising, and manpower for signatures, to no avail. My perception was that NRA believed the 2nd Amendment Foundation had it covered. They obviously didn’t. First year in 26 I didn’t renew my NRA membership, because when I needed them, they WERE NOT THERE.
