In its creepy computer-automated voice, the hacker group Anonymous released a very clear message to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Ferguson City Police on Wednesday, “If you abuse, harass or harm in any way the protesters in Ferguson we will take every web-based asset of your departments and governments offline.”
“That’s not a threat, it is a promise,” the voice added.
Well, it appears Anonymous is keeping to its word because on Thursday it released on Twitter the name of the officer who fatally shot Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old from Ferguson, a suburb of St. Louis, last Saturday night.
(GunsAmerica is not going to publish the name of the officer because the case is still being investigated and GunsAmerica doesn’t know all the facts of the case or whether the use of force was justified. That said, based on an eye-witness account of the shooting that suggest Brown was surrendering while he was shot, it doesn’t look good for Missouri police.)
Now, unless law enforcement in Missouri responds to Anonymous’s call for a cessation of the alleged brutality against protestors rallying in support of Brown’s family, its going to release photos, addresses, and personal documents of the officers involved in the shooting.
NEXT RELEASES IF @stlcountypd doesn't respond: 1) PHOTO 2) ADDRESS w/ PHOTO 3) FULL D0X #Anonymous #Ferguson

To make its case against police, Anonymous shared the following video on its Twitter account:
It should also be noted that there was looting going on in the wake of the Brown shooting. That doesn’t excuse police brutality against demonstrators, if it is indeed taking place, but it does explain why there is a strong police presence in Ferguson. Law enforcement must do its best to maintain order, keep the peace, protect private property but also respect the First Amendment rights of protestors. Failure to do either in a competent and respectful manner will result in continued chaos and civil unrest.
You call protesting what these criminals do……bashing windows of businesses, looting, turning cars over, and so on and on. I’ll tell you what come and do that type of shit in my community and these so called protesters wont make it out alive. Tired of the media always bashing law and order and promoting these clowns.
Sorry, but blocking a public road is NOT a peaceful protest. The police in Fergusson and MO coddled these criminals, who should have received a good old fashioned police beating on their way to being thrown in jail.
Fictious .. The entire action was smoke and mirrors ! Poof .. Sandy Hook style . NO Michael Brown , Media notified the Police ,,
BLANNELBERRY, nobody in a mob is unarmed. If you’d ever stood in a police chalk across from an unruly mob you would take exception to anyone who says so. Wait for the facts to come out, by all means, but I have detected an anti-police sentiment on this site and it’s time to consider the alternative to local policing. Study the supremacy clause of the Constitution and think about the impossibility to prosecute Federal Storm Troopers under state law before you push for a federal police force. That’s what these anti-cop stories do.
Ah, this occurred well over a year ago. Why is it being brought up now as news?
Blame the Gun Industry FAKE NEWS ,, stir that pot , keep racial tensions up . Its all going too smooth for the anti 2A crowd .
I’d like to see these clown ass keyboard commandos be shown a REAL ass kicking instead of their B.S. Threats.
Black savages.
Black savages? Okay, boss.
