What can I win?
Rock Island Auction Company is giving away three different auction credit amounts to use for our 2019 February Regional Auction. The prizes are:

Grand Prize: $1,000 credit to spend towards items in the 2019 February Regional Auction.

2nd Prize: $500 credit to spend towards items in the 2019 February Regional Auction.

3rd Prize: $250 credit to spend towards items in the 2019 February Regional Auction.

Do you sell my information to anyone?
By participating in this contest RIAC will NOT share your email or other personal information to 3rd party sites, as stated in our Privacy Policy.

Is a purchase necessary?
No. You can enter our sweepstakes without previously bidding on lots in the 2019 February Regional Auction or purchasing anything from RIAC.

Who can enter?
Participants must be at least 18 years old, reside in the United States or its territories and be able to legally own firearms under applicable federal, state and local laws.

Can I live somewhere outside of the USA and win? 
No. Only United States citizens currently residing within one of the 50 states (and the District of Columbia) or its territories are eligible to win.

How are the winners chosen? 
The winners are chosen at random but are weighted by the numbers of entries you have. The more you participate the better your chances to win.

How many times can I enter to win? 
Each action a participant takes is assigned a certain number of entries.  The more actions you take, the more entries you receive.

How will I be notified if I win? 
We will notify you via email if you win! Winners will be picked on February 13, 2019.

How will I receive my credit?

• If you win the sweepstakes, you will be credited your winning amount to your Rock Island Auction Company account. The credit can be applied to your invoice total for the February 2019 auction only.

If I win, can I use the awarded credit on any future auctions?
No. This credit is for the 2019 February Regional Auction and the winners must place a bid or bids on items in the auction to use the awarded amount.

If you do not win your lot (or lots) you bid on, you will lose the auction credit.

If you do win a lot (or lots) you’ve placed bids on, but still have a remaining balance of auction credit after the 2019 February Regional Auction concludes, then you will lose the remaining balance.

EXAMPLES

• If you win an item in the 2019 February Regional Auction and your total invoice with shipping, materials, hammer price and buyer’s premium is $1500 and you won the Grand Prize of $1000, we will apply $1000 in credit on your invoice and you will need to pay an additional $500 to complete the sale.
• If you win an item in the 2019 February Regional Auction and your total invoice with shipping, materials, hammer price and buyer’s premium is $1500 and you won the Third Prize of $250, we will apply $250 in credit on your invoice and you will need to pay an additional $1250 to complete the sale.
• If you win an item in the 2019 February Regional Auction and your total invoice with shipping, materials, hammer price and buyer’s premium is $1500 and you won the Second Prize of $500, we will apply $500 in credit on your invoice and you will need to pay an additional $1000 to complete the sale.
• If you win an item in the 2019 February Regional Auction and your total invoice with shipping, materials, hammer price and buyer’s premium is $500 and you won the Grand Prize of $1000, we will apply $500 in credit on your invoice, but you will lose the remaining $500 auction credit.

Can my credit be used toward buyer’s premium, shipping costs, and taxes on my item?
Yes, this credit covers the items total cost. If the combined total is more than your awarded credit, then the bidder is responsible for the remaining balance. If the combined total is less than the credit awarded, the bidder may not use that credit towards a future auctions.
