Did anti-gun activist David Hogg just defend the Constitution? In particular, the Second Amendment?
It appears so!
The co-founder of March for Our Lives publicly criticized Gov. Grisham’s unconstitutional gun ban in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Hogg’s statement over the weekend was made on X, previously known as Twitter.
“I support gun safety but there is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution,” he tweeted.

“I will say and do what I feel is right no matter how unpopular it’s [sic] might be,” Hogg went on to say, as the National Review reported.
“If Dems don’t do enough on gun violence I have and will tell you. If I feel they approach it in a way I don’t agree with I will also tell you. Leadership is not about doing what is popular[,] it’s about doing what is right and what is needed to achieve the goal. I’m not here to be popular I’m here to stop what happened in Parkland from happening again,” Hogg added.
One of the things I appreciate most about the Democratic Party is we are not in a cult. We are liberal in the literal sense and not just political. We openly talk about different views and I appreciate our openness to do so. We all are in this together and sometimes have…

Gov. Grisham’s order, which prohibits open and concealed carry in certain areas via an emergency decree, is already the subject of at least two lawsuits.
Gun Owners of America announced its legal challenge on Saturday, as GunsAmerica previously reported.

On Tuesday, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) joined the party.
SAF founder Alan M. Gottlieb stated that Gov. Grisham lacks authority to suspend the Second Amendment even during alleged emergencies.
“Despite her claims to the contrary,” said Gottlieb, “Gov. Grisham does not have the authority to ‘suspend’ the Second Amendment for an alleged public health emergency or any other reason. Neither do any of the other defendants, nor can they legally enforce such a suspension.”
“Evidently,” added SAF Executive Director Adam Kraut, “Gov. Lujan Grisham believes she can disregard the constitution to further her own political views. We’re taking action to stop this unconstitutional exercise of power in its tracks, because it is a flagrant violation of the right of individual citizens to carry firearms in public for personal defense.
“Our motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction will prevent the state from further causing injury to the plaintiffs and other citizens under this unlawful order,” Kraut added.
Even @CNN disagrees with @GovMLG. Her gun ban is unconstitutional. Period. pic.twitter.com/fwSiXRUqlN

In the lawsuit, other named defendants include top officials from the New Mexico Departments of Health and Public Safety, and the Chief of the New Mexico State Police.
It’s pretty clear that Gov. Grisham’s gonna take an “L” on this one. If David Hogg thinks she’s over her skis, then there’s little doubt that she’s gone way too far.
Makes one wonder if Hogg is starting to come around. Maybe there’s hope for him after all. LOL. What do you think?

I don’t give a shit what David Hogg says or who he endorses. He’s still a piece of shit in my book.
It’s not what they say, it’s what they do that you need to pay attention to.
Hogg boi is about as confused as big mike’s OB/GYN. He’ll say or do anything to extend his 15 min of fame.
Well, it must be freezing cold in hell right now, ’cause it just froze over. I find myself agreeing with Davis Hogg. Who’d a thunk it!!
Clearly, Hogg will do or say anything in an attempt to stay in the public eye and appear to be relevant and above all get those donations

No, Hogg just disagrees with Grisham’s strategy but NOT the objectives. He still wants the 2A gutted.
We don’t want to gut the second amendment, just place some common sense boundaries around it the way the Founders intended!
Don’t lie to us! You clowns want to abolish the 2A, and you know it. If the Founders had wanted your so-called Common sense boundaries, they’d a said so. These folks were not fools ya know. So, cut the BS.
WE ? Who the hell are We ?
Clearly , sir , you speak of yourself and other Neocommunists ,
not the whole of this Country .
Well Blue Dog (I see you use the male pronouns)
Exactly what were these “common sense boundaries around it the way the Founding Fathers intended”?
We cretins wish to know and ask your guidance. No, actually, we want to know what boundaries the
Founding Fathers intended for the Second Amendment.
Please inform us as to what “common sense boundaries around it the way the Founders intended”. Really, I’d like to know.
He’s afraid it’s to much, to fast, after seeing the backlash. Much better to chip away at it a little at a time. Like boiling a frog. Throw it in a pan a hot water, it’ll jump out. Put it in cool water and gradually heat it up, it’ll sit there until it boils to death. Same concept.
Just like the climate change you all deny is happening as tornados swarm, hurricanes become more frequent and violent, forests burn… frogs in simmering water.
Everything you stated is actually wrong.
The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concluded that climate change so far has not resulted in increases in the frequency or intensity of many types of extreme weather, including tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, or droughts.
The number of deaths each decade resulting from natural disasters actually declined by 92% since the peak in the 1920s. While the cost of natural disasters has risen over that period of time, it is because there are more people and property in harm’s way than in the past, not because disasters are worsening.
The increasing visibility and media coverage of wildfires makes it seem like fires are getting worse because of climate change. It turns out, however, that other human activities have a much greater impact than greenhouse gas emissions on the frequency and severity of forest fires.
A study published in the “Proceedings of the National academy of Sciences of the United states of America” that modeled thirty-seven different regions across the United States concluded that “humans may not only influence fire regimes but their presence can actually override, or swamp out, the effects of climate.” The study found that the only statistically significant factors for the frequency and severity of fires on an annual basis were population and proximity to development, i.e. how close the fires occurred to homes, businesses, etc.
Get your religion out of here you clown, oh and more drivel from bluedouche it/clown.
