CZ-USA has released two updated shotguns, the double-barrelled Bobwhite G2, and the new camo and synthetic stock version of the CZ 1012 inertia driven semi-auto.
Bobwhite G2
The Bobwhite G2 is a side-by-side with two triggers and an English style walnut stock. A major update is that the receiver is now CNC machined as one piece, which means there is very little variation from unit to unit so if service is needed the parts are easier to fit. It’s black chromed barrel is weather-resistant but as stylish as classic bluing. It’s got a smooth tang mounted safety and a white Bradley-style bead. The barrels are both tapped for flush-mounted chokes, and five chokes are included. It’s a gun made to last.
MSRP is just $655, and it’s available now.
CZ 1012 Synthetic Semi Auto
The 1012 isn’t new, but the camo version with a synthetic stock is. The standout feature of this semi-auto shotgun is that it runs and runs with little maintenance. CZ stress tested these guns with 5,000 rounds without any cleaning or maintenance and they all came through without any failures. It’ll shoot ammo as slow as 1000fps and over 1600fps. CZ’s 1012 Synthetic is a real all-around gun made to be used.
MSRP is $749 and it’s ready to buy.
I’m interested in over and under shotguns
I’ve got a Bobwhite in 16 gauge, but no choke tubes. Handles beautifully and nothing that gets in front of it escapes. I have yet to own a CZ of any flavor, rifle, pistol or shotgun, that was not a joy to own and shoot.
