In a decisive move late yesterday, Gun Owners of America (GOA) and the Gun Owners Foundation (GOF) successfully obtained a preliminary injunction against the Biden administration’s Universal Registration Check rule.
The contentious rule mandates individuals selling even a single firearm within a year to secure a Federal Firearms License and perform background checks.

Who Is Covered by the Injunction?
The injunction specifically prohibits the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) from enforcing the new rule against members of GOA, the Tennessee Firearms Association, the Virginia Citizens Defense League, and all residents of Texas, Utah, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
Background and Ongoing Legal Efforts
This legal win follows a series of actions by GOA, including a previously secured partial Temporary Restraining Order that halted enforcement against their members and certain plaintiffs since the rule’s initial implementation on May 20th.
Statement from GOA’s Senior VP
Erich Pratt, Senior Vice President of GOA, expressed the gravity of the situation. “This is a massive victory for our members and it comes at a crucial time,” he said.
Pratt highlighted a recent incident involving an early morning ATF raid in Arkansas, which tragically resulted in the death of a citizen accused of violating the new regulations.
“This Administration’s ceaseless aggression towards gun owners has already turned deadly,” Pratt added, vowing that GOA and its partners will persist in their resistance against what he described as a “lawless and tyrannical administration.”

If Biden truly wanted safer streets, he would let private citizens have access to the instant background check, anonymously. He won’t, champions release of felons and zero cash bail. Biden is a disgusting dispicable cognitively challenged imbecilic piece of feces.
