NRA News commentator and urban gun enthusiast Colion Noir recently reviewed the JM PRO (Jerry Miculek) Series 930 Mossberg shotgun.
Needless to say, at a price point of around $750 it’s a pretty good deal.

I own an 870 pump 7+1 with ATI adjustable pistol grip and love it.
Not in the buyers market, but I gotta say this 10 shot sure looks smooth.
Ad a pistol grip and dam! Best SG I’ve seen since the VEPR Saiga.
And if Jerry likes it, then it’s ok for me.
If you get a good one they run, but if you get a bad one which a lot of people have they are a nightmare. There are many documented problems with the 930JM. My 930SPX runs like a champ though!!
I have been shooting shotguns for well over 40 years. Have shot all ends of the spectrum. High End $30,000 and up
to low end Mossberg. The all shoot game and targets. This review of Jerry’s endorsed JM Pro does have some value. If you are looking for a “Price” shotgun, then I think it is suitable for most use. I shoot in three gun competition and I shoot against many JM Pro shotguns. Some work pretty well, especially if they have been to a quality shotgun mechanic and been worked over. Guys these are mass production guns, and the less expensive ones give you just that. Honestly I have seen more problems with JM in the way of one type of failure or another then 80 % of the other guns shot. To be quite fair, even the higher end and more expensive guns are also mass produced. The more money just buys you a much better base to start with and the quality of the manufacturer shows in its function and durability. All said, if you have the means, I would recommend another choice of gun. If not then I think this is a great gun for the money.
I bought a JM pro last year and after finding the min power loads it would eat, it’s run flawlessly. My gun doent like any lite loads under 1290 FPS.
Awesome for 3 gun!
