New from CMMG this week is their 9 ARC magazines and mag inserts, which make standard AR mags compatible with 9mm ammo.
To get a functional 9mm AR, all you need is a CMMG upper equipped with the company’s proprietary radial delayed blowback system and any standard AR lower. Buy a CMMG 9 ARC mag or swap in the 9 ARC insert into your Magpul PMAG, load up with 9mm and you’re ready to rock n roll!
Training with your AR is now a whole lot cheaper. What’s more, is that those of you who have jumped through the ATF hoops to acquire a full auto lower can also cash in on the fun if you purchase a CMMG upper and the ARC mags/inert.
Highlights:
- No Tools Required
- Up to 30-Round Capacity
- Last Round Bolt Hold-Open
- Uses Standard Carbine Buffer and Spring
- Compatible with CMMG 9mm Radial Delayed Blowback uppers only
- Great For Training
Unlike typical direct blowback systems, radial delayed blowback uses a bolt that is forced to rotate and unlock before cycling. This delay allows CMMG to use a lighter buffer and carrier than a direct blowback, resulting in less felt recoil than the typical pistol caliber carbines (PCCs).
I just ran 500 rounds through my 9mm CMMG upper with a full auto lower. The recoil was somewhere just north of .22LR and the rate was very controllable. Why 500 rounds? Because that was all I had. I just kept smiling and reloading.
Want to give the 9 ARC a try? Look for them at cmmginc.com . Complete mag is $44.95, and the insert for your PMAG is $29.95.
cmmg is on the top in my book ! Send me one please lol
You can go to their website https://www.meanarms.com/products/detail/endomag-9mm and they have TWO different magazine conversions available. One for the CMMG specialized delayed blow back upper and ONE FOR A STANDARD 9MM UPPER! You need not buy a special upper to use with their magazines
