An Ohio Sheriff is urging the public to seek professional training following the passage of the state’s new constitutional carry law,  known as SB 215. 

“Why even walk around at that point?  Stay home.  Behind closed doors,” Contreras added.  

“I have always stood up for the rights of law-abiding gun owners, and I am proud to do that again today,” she continued. 

A majority of self-described Democrats, 52 percent, say they would leave the United States if America were being invaded rather than stay and fight.

The Delaware contingent of Moms Demand Action held a rally at the state capitol last week to urge legislators to pass a new permit-to-purchase requirement for handguns.

Anti-Second Amendment group Everytown for Gun Safety is hosting an “hour of action” to demand the repeal of Georgia’s “stand your ground law,” which the group characterizes as a “shoot first law.”

“Hoosiers value their Second Amendment rights, yet under the current regime they are forced to ask the government for extra permission in order to exercise the fundamental right of carrying a firearm for self-defense,” said John Weber, NRA state director in Indiana. 

Local Houston news station KHOU ran a report this week that covered the “upward trend” of homemade “ghost guns” used in crimes across the country.

Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX) introduced a bill this week that would prevent the federal government from compiling a backdoor gun registry.
