In choosing a hunting rifle, there’s often a trade-off between weight and accuracy. Ultralight rifles are a joy to carry, but many hunters struggle to shoot them as accurately as they can shoot heavier, more stable rifles.

The Browning X-Bolt Speed SR delivered an awesome performance from a reasonably priced hunting rifle. Hence I wouldn’t hesitate a second to take this rifle out west for a trophy elk hunt or to Africa.

There are more guns that fold in half now than ever before. Folding guns are typically handy little things that thrive in how compact they can become. 

I never realized how important top-quality leather gear or holsters were until I needed to wear a gun around all day long, riding horses, doing chores, hunting wearing a pack, sitting in a vehicle, crawling through brush, and competing while performing rough and tumble activities.

I love the idea of downsizing so will it stop at the 20-gauge or move to a 28 or even a 410?  My shot selection will of course need to be enhanced, but I tend to shoot over the decoys anyway.  I see this smaller gauge as nothing short of fun.
