One feature I really appreciate about this rifle is the reduced movement it takes to operate this gun.

In my opinion, a better suited option when truly Big Bore stuff needs to happen is the 50 Alaskan.  

Typically, stick-and-string goers get the first crack at springtime noisemakers in most states. Archery-only seasons give bowhunters a chance to hit the woods, often for several weeks, before loud booms start filling the woods. 

Passing that test is critical.  You want your deep winter hunting boots to keep your feet warm and dry in any environment you are likely to encounter, all day long.
