Savage Arms unveiled an expanded 2020 lineup at this year’s SHOT Show including new centerfire rifles, rimfire rifles and shotguns.

One of my favorite companies, Uintah Precision, has updated their lineup for 2020 by producing their own lowers which has allowed them to offer complete rifles of their own making. On top of this, they have updated their design for better aesthetics and functionality.

At the 2020 SHOT Show shotgun authorities Mossberg and Jerry Miculek were proud to exhibit the new 940 JM Pro semi-auto for competition.

The LUPO is designed to be great, starting from the bottom up. It is a modular chassis style hunting rifle. It is modular because it contains aspects of a typical hunting stock as well as a 7075 T6 Aluminum chassis that supports the action; and I assume that in the future, you can customize this configuration with other features that are soon to be released.

New for 2020, KelTec has released yet another innovative and cool firearm: the Sub 2000 CQB (Carbine Quiet Barrel). This new beauty from KelTec is an integrally suppressed PCC carbine. It will be available in 9mm and 40 S&W.

There are 2 models available, one is a braced pistol and the other is a rifle. Kriss calls them the Vector 22 SDP-SB and Vector 22 CRB respectively. The only difference between the two is the length of barrel and forend, as well as the pistol having an SB Tactical SBX-K brace vs. a rifle stock.

Because this is an air rifle, it is not constrained by the laws surrounding firearms, which means that there are no age restrictions and you can have it shipped to your front door. Also, sound moderators are not under the ATF’s watchful eye; allowing you to have an airgun suppressor shipped to you with no wait time!

This light machine gun is exactly that: extraordinarily lightweight. Coming in at only 11 pounds, it is extremely manageable to carry around and claims to be the world’s lightest machine gun. The Ultimax 100 MK8 fires from a non-reciprocating, open bolt and puts 5.56x45mm NATO down range at a rate of 400-600 rounds per minute with extremely light felt recoil.

Mossberg is primarily known as a long gun manufacturer, but the first firearm they produced 100 years ago was a handgun. The family-owned business is still at it, and they have a brand new pistol hitting the market.

Penetration tests with the Diablo were very impressive. Both OO and #4 buckshot penetrated a 3/4″ plywood board, and the slugs went through 3 of them, just barely.

These new XDm Elites are everything that they suggest in the name. I was able to get my hands on all four new additions in order to test them and develop an opinion on them that I can now share. Here’s your first look into the XDm Elites: The trigger is superb, they proved extremely reliable, the grip safety is redesigned and consequently more comfortable and reliably activated, and the magazine capacity is bigger than it has ever been, and so on.

The Elite series brings improvements to the already updated XD-M line that should appeal to the practical-tactical crowd and pistol shooters everywhere.
