These new XDm Elites are everything that they suggest in the name. I was able to get my hands on all four new additions in order to test them and develop an opinion on them that I can now share. Here’s your first look into the XDm Elites: The trigger is superb, they proved extremely reliable, the grip safety is redesigned and consequently more comfortable and reliably activated, and the magazine capacity is bigger than it has ever been, and so on.

The Elite series brings improvements to the already updated XD-M line that should appeal to the practical-tactical crowd and pistol shooters everywhere.

My affinity for scary black rifles began eons ago, back in 2003, as an honorary member of the Tarleton State High Power Rifle Team. Why, exactly, would I choose a 10mm for a Limited Gun? That class has long been dominated by 40 S&W, and usually in a 2011 platform. So why a 10mm, and why the XDM? Well, the XDM part is the easier answer.

The Wrangler is NOT a cheap gun. It is, however, a well-engineered gun that makes use of materials and engineering that keeps the costs down so anyone (everyone?) can roll tin cans and slay steel (or pot a squirrel or two) with impunity!

In a world where vacuous ill-informed talking heads chatter like chimps about assault rifles, weapons of mass destruction, and sundry other gun-related topics they clearly fail to understand, the gory machinegun murders of German Jimenez Panesso and his associate Juan Carlos Hernandez were actually the real deal.

Keltec’s KS7 is compact, it comes up well, and it’s priced competitively. It’s clearly intended as a home-defense gun, but it’s so light and packable that it may find it’s way into other uses.

I was perfectly content with the standard P365, it has been my everyday carry since I purchased it to do my first P365 article, but then I tried the XL. So how do you make a great little gun even better?
