Who doesn’t love a good red dot? Especially these days when the technology has lowered drastically in price while growing in quality. Holosun, in particular, has taken the world by storm by not only producing high-quality optics at low prices but innovating. In the last few years, they’ve really taken off and designed optics that go beyond being competent and have created competition in the optics world. The latest Holosun is the AEMS. AEMS stands for Advanced Enclosed Micro Sight, and it promises to be the latest and greatest compact optic.

Our tester this week comes from RMJ Tactical, the Dragonfly to be specific. It is made of Nitro-V stainless steel, weighs in at 1.8 ounces without the sheath, and features a 2.375-inch blade.

In my experience, the saying “you get what you pay for” is generally true. However, there are still a few pieces of budget gear I would recommend. KCI Glock mags are one of them.

Speed Beez makes a variety of tools to make loading your guns easier.  The company got its start making speedloaders, moon clips, and other tools for revolver shooters. 

The HS512C is an outstanding optic for close-quarters shooting. It provides an enclosed optic option for those wanting something but is very effective and affordable. The HS512C is well suited for home defense, and I’d even take it on as a duty optic. The little fella is a fighter and provides an enclosed optic option that might be a little easier to find than the AEMS for the next few months.

For any situation where saving your brass is called for, this is a great product. Be it reloading, ease of range clean up, or just not littering, this is an absolute winner. One I can highly recommend.

I am really happy to see such a high-quality light hit the market at such a low price. Pistol lights are absolutely fantastic for nightstand or combat guns, and I highly recommend them. With Nightstick branded lights, that tactical advantage just became a reality for a whole new segment of consumers.
