olute bargain at $249, and I recommend you grab one while the grabbing is good. This is a great value optic and given the supply chain so far this year, probably going to be in short supply. You can also look forward to some long-term durability testing on mine over the next year because I’m not sending it back. And that is the strongest endorsement I know how to give.

Updated: March 26, 2022The Morph Switch is a whole lot of gun and innovation in a small package designed for concealed carry. So, the Morph is a step outside of PT’s normal product offering but brings with it many of the characteristics of the guns used by top competitors.
Franklin Armory’s Binary 10/22 Trigger RIPS (With NEW Trigger Housing)
Updated: March 26, 2022I was more excited about the 22-C1 trigger for the 10/22 (and compatibles) than any other. Why? Because ammo is freaking expensive. Slinging lead is fun, but those 30-round .223 Rem. magazines add up quick. With the 22-C1, you can have the fun of super-fast semi-automatic fire without setting fire to your wallet. You may not win any wars with a 10/22, but it’s one of the best range toys I’ve ever had.
Midwest Industries 10.5” M-LOK Night Fighter Rail
Updated: March 26, 2022Midwest Industries recently announced their Night Fighter M-Lok rail which is geared toward Night Vision shooters. This rail is designed to be more rigid to reduce lasers’ point-of-impact shifts. By bulking up and keeping more 6061 aluminum in this rail compared to some of their previous options, the Night Fighter looks promising. Having a history of providing great products at affordable prices, I was immediately very interested in this new option.
You Don’t Need a License to Own a Suppressor: $200 Taxes, Constructive Possession, & Made In Your State Suppressors
Updated: March 20, 2022On a regular basis, I hear knowledgeable gun owners say that they’d love to own a suppressor but that they don’t want to get a class 3 license. It just isn’t worth the hassle to them.
Can QD Mounts Maintain Zero? Meet Bobro Engineering
Updated: March 20, 2022As one who switches between day and night optics often, quick detach or QD mounts have been an excellent tool in my toolbox. While QD mounts were always convenient, many people worry about what accuracy they may be sacrificing by not utilizing a fixed mount. Curious myself, I decided to test out how well the BoBro Engineering QD mounts would hold zero when being taken off and then re-attached to the same rail slot.
Ruger 10/22 Charger – The Ultimate Donor Gun? Reviewed
Updated: March 20, 2022This week is a bit of an odd duck, as we rather intentionally bought a gun we intend to look nothing like factory in just a few weeks. But since we do have it, we thought why not take a look at it as it sits. We mean of course the Ruger 10/22 Charger, the red headed step child of rimfires.
DeltaPoint Micro: Leupold’s New Red Dot Sight for the “Dot Curious”
Updated: March 20, 2022DeltaPoint Micro is a fully enclosed, low-profile red dot sight designed specifically for concealed carry and personal defense. It provides all of the advantages of a miniature red dot sight without the high profile of other sights. No red dot on the market is more compact, its low height to bore replicates the same sight plane that iron-sight shooters are accustomed to, allowing for intuitive target acquisition, and it delivers the legendarily rugged performance that Leupold consumers expect. Your iron sight presentation will put the red dot right in your field of view.
Caring for Your Ammo Stockpile
Updated: September 2, 2024What are the natural enemies of ammunition? Well, politicians, California in general, and as 2020 taught us, metal prices are all at the top of the list. But a not distant fourth is water and its little brother moisture in general.
